What’s new | MEDINA
🚧 Lake Medina Glow-Up!
Trail lovers, listen up! The upper aggregate trail at Lake Medina is getting a serious makeover. Starting Sept 10 through Oct 3, crews are rolling in with the heavy equipment to:
👉 Beef up the stone riprap along the dam’s edge
👉 Give the trail a fresh new surface
What does that mean? The upper trail is CLOSED for now. But don’t panic… both parking lots are open (though Granger Road’s got limited spots) and the asphalt trail at the toe of the dam? Still all yours.
Bottom line: a few weeks of waiting = safer, smoother trails for everyone. (short term pain, long term gain, right?)

What’s new | BRUNSWICK
🚒New Brunswick fire station 80%
Have you’ve driven past the new location of the newest Brunswick fire station on Haddock north of Center Rd. It’s well underway and according to the Medina Gazette they are about 80% complete. This station is much more capable and designed for a full-time fire crew. They plan to have the station finished and ready for operation this fall.

🏐 Take THAT Nordonia! 🏐
Bump.. set… SPIKE! The Wadsworth girls volleyball team smashed their way through the Nordonia team. What’s the big deal? Another game, right? WRONG! Both teams were undefeated going into the game. Now… there are only 6 undefeated DIV II teams left in Ohio. Including Wadsworth. Keep on rockin’ it girls!!

Have you tried Planted Flag Brewing!
If you haven’t tried Planted Flag Brewing on Pearl Rd in Medina… you might just be a Dummkopf! (👈 that’s German for dummy) The reviews are insane and the food is mouthwatering. They brew great beer (try the Oktoberfest right now) and their American and some German-inspired dishes are da bomb! 💣(nobody says that anymore, do they?)
