Medina = 😀

🎄 No surprise to those of us who live here but it’s awesome to be recognized! Our community has been named one of Reader’s Digest’s Nicest Places in America for 2025, all thanks to the heartfelt Promise of Christmas event. 💚 Led by Mark and Dana Klaus of Castle Noel, Medina came together in January to recreate the holidays for 200 North Carolina hurricane victims. With help from local volunteers, businesses, and city groups, the weekend was filled with parades, gifts, and pure holiday magic. 🎁🏠 Reader’s Digest recognized the effort as a shining example of compassion and small-town spirit and we couldn’t agree more!

Job well done MEDINA!!!

More Parks | MEDINA COUNTY

🌳Metroparks to buy Medina Land

🌳 The Cleveland Metroparks is looking to add to Medina’s preserved park land. The Metroparks is eyeing the 18.5-acre Harrison property next to Hinckley Reservation. It’s a mix of farmland and forest that feeds Johnson’s Creek, home to some rare critters like the West Virginia white butterfly. 🦋🌿 So… what’s the plan? Let nature do its thing, maybe add a tiny Ledge Lake entrance, and protect the watershed from development.

This won’t be cheap, they expect the project to cost $744K! 💰 Part of that money would be coming from the Clean Ohio Conservation Fund. Some trustees are cautious about the Metroparks owning more land, but the community could be in for more green space, wildlife, and hiking fun. 🌲

🏠 Fancy Like…

What happens when you take a mansion and Medina, buy it, give it a glow up and turn it into the ultimate AirBNB rental? You get the Medina Mansion! I spotted this on social this week and had to share. The team behind the reno has been sharing their journey on Instragram - WORTH A FOLLOW!

This place is massive! We’re talking 12k square feet! Big enough to sleep 27 people. Big enough to impress the Fresh Prince of Bel Air!!

This is definately a unique place in Medina for your next family visit or big event. They’ve designed it to be the perfect spot for a wedding, family trip or even hunting trip. So far, so good with reviews putting it close to a 4.9/5 rating on AirBNB.
