This Saturday (Sept 27th), Medina’s Public Square is going to be the place to be for anyone who loves autumn vibes, good food, and family-friendly fun! 🌻 Whether you’re a pumpkin-painting pro, a chili connoisseur, or just here for some cute puppies, there’s something for everyone. And the best part? It’s all FREE!

Here’s what’s happening:

🧑‍🌾 Hay Maze Madness – Channel your inner adventurer and get lost in the hay maze! Just try not to get stuck (unless you want to make a day of it).
🎨 Pumpkin Painting – Unleash your creativity and transform your pumpkin into a masterpiece.
🐾 Puppy Parade – Calling all pups and their people! The Puppy Parade kicks off at 10:30am with costume judging, and everyone’s a winner with homemade treats. (Get ready for some adorable competition.)
🎉 Carnival Games – Channel your inner child with classic carnival games. Maybe you’ll win a prize?
🛍 Farmers Market – Pick up fresh, local produce and handmade goodies to take home! (9a-2p)
🍜 Chili Cook-Off – Spicy, hearty, and totally delicious. You get to taste and vote for the Fan Favorite chili while supporting Cups Cafe.
🎶 Live Entertainment – Groove to live tunes in the gazebo, perfect for some autumn day vibes.
🎡 Horse Rides, Face Painting, and Balloon Art – The kiddos (and kids at heart) will be entertained with rides, colorful face designs, and balloon sculptures.
📚 Medina County District Library “Book Bike” – Swing by for a good read, because who doesn’t love a good story during the fall?

Shout out to a mystery hero who just cleared over $3,500 in lunch debt for Brunswick City Schools! 🙌 The generous donation covered unpaid meal bills from elementary to high school students. The district says they are beyond grateful for this act of kindness that will ensure no student goes hungry. It’s a reminder that one good deed can make a huge difference! 🌟

Big cheers for Medina County schools!! Every single district has earned ⭐⭐⭐⭐ or higher on the 2025 Ohio School Report Cards, putting them above state standards and giving us all a reason to celebrate! Highland Schools led the pack with a perfect five-star rating, showing major strength in achievement, gap closing, and graduation rates. Brunswick, Cloverleaf, Medina, and Wadsworth weren’t far behind, each scoring an impressive 4.5 stars with top marks in graduation and gap closing, proving that teamwork between teachers, staff, and the community really pays off. Buckeye and Black River held strong with solid four-star ratings, highlighting steady progress and plenty to be proud of. With Ohio’s updated report card system now measuring not just academics but also college, career, and military readiness, it’s clear Medina County is preparing its students for bright futures both in and out of the classroom. So here’s to our teachers, students, families, and staff!!! The hard work is showing, and the stars say it all! ✨📚🎉
